Open Call for 2014 Beekeeping Mentorship Applications

Attention Novice Beekeepers:

Farms at Work invites you submit an application to our 2014 Beekeeping Mentorship Program.

If you're a beginner beekeeper who's looking for the hands-on training and support required to confidently scale up your beekeeping enterprise, then you should consider applying to the 2014 Farms at Work Beekeeping Mentorship Program

Following the progression of the beekeeping season (late-March - October), qualified mentees will gather at the apiary of our beekeeper-mentor for five field days, where they will learn time-honoured approaches to colony management and honey production. Also included are several hours of individual telephone support throughout the season, as mentees work at honing their skills in their own bee yards.

Registration fees for the 2014 season are $600. Financial assistance may be available to qualified applicants through Growing Forward 2 (we can help you with your application!).

For all the program details, and an outline of the GF2 funding that may be available to you, please head to our Beekeeping Mentorship Program page.
