Local Food Business Networking Event – Whitby, April 10th
This "business-to-business" local food networking event is for local producers, processors, restaurants, caterers, retail stores, and institutions looking to make business connections.
- farmers - showcase your product to 20-30 buyers from eastern GTA & Durham region. You will be matched up with buyers for targeted “speed-meetings”.
- buyers - meet farmers in east central Ontario that are selling what you need in targeted mini-meetings
- learn about 20 new & emerging crops

Rural Women’s Summit – March 3rd!
FREE EVENT – all are welcome!
Join Maryam Monsef for the first Rural Women’s Summit where they will bring together the rural community to discuss the empowerment of rural women and girls in Peterborough-Kawartha.
An afternoon session featuring a panel presentation, participant dialogue and action planning will run from 2:00pm until 5:00pm; the evening session will feature a keynote speech by Maryam Monsef, music and refreshments. This session runs from 5pm-8pm. Networking and information tables will be available throughout the event.
