Two Successful Local Food Networking Events
Farms at Work held two Local Food Networking Events this spring - one in Douro, Peterborough and the second north of Cobourg in Northumberland. Both events were sold-old. Between the two, approximately 75 farmers, restaurants, stores, and institutions participated in targeted "speed-meetings". Participants reported a total of 130 new business connections made in which new sales and purchases of local food are expected!
